How to Root Your Android Device With KingRoot V4.6.5

There are so many reasons for us wanting to root our android device which always consists of being able to have full access or control of your device and to be able install custom ROMs or some root enabled apps, though some are still afraid to root their android device in the sense that it might brick or to install latest OS version will be difficult for them.

There's no problem in rooting your android phone unless you start to install custom ROMs to your device which sometimes can cause damage to your phone if not properly done.

There are various apps to root Android smartphone but i always prefer kingroot or towel root but in this tutorial it is kingroot that i will be dealing with.

How to Root your Android phone with KingRoot

  1. Download and install Kingroot V4.6.5 here on your Android device.
  2. After installing it, start the application and wait for Kingroot to fully analyze your device. after a few seconds you will see the main window(please it is written in Chinese language but follow the guide here).
  3. Click the Big Green Circle on your device that says Root and wait for a few minutes (make sure you have a good internet connection as kingroot goes with internet).

  • After a few minutes, you should see a tick mark in a green circle and the blue horizontal bar below the green circle, which means that your device has been successfully rooted with the help of Kingroot.

And that is it the super user will be automatically installed on your Android device and to verify the root access please download root checker from Google play store and verify whether it is properly rooted.

@Luqman scroll up till you get to this place in the pic below and click try it.

Got any problem or question please drop it on the comment box thanks.

    1. Once you install the kingroot and root it with your device, it will automatically install super user on its own. But you can as well install super user from play store.

  2. Just have the superuser installed on your device and Forget about the kinguser.

    1. Towel root works on Samsung xexynos device like the Galaxy s5 or note 4,dont know about Galaxy S6 and Edge. If you should try this kingroot first and then towel root as this two are my best off pc rooting apps.

  8. Bro did you try this V4.6.5 cause it roots Android 5.1 lollipop only Marshmallow is exceptional. If this particular version didn't work for you though it states it roots Android 5.1 lollipop, i will recommend another rooting app for you but it might involve a pc. Not sure if towel root will work for infinix MediaTek processor.

  14. Luqman is your phone rooted and which device you are using, secondly is the imei correct cause trying to input an improper imie also show that error message. When you get an imei, use imei analyzer to check it and be very careful before you damage your device.

  17. @sam which network did you use, i always recommend etisalat. By going on what you said, maybe it can't root your Infinix zero running on Android 5.1.1 but have you tried towel root. If these two best mobile root apps can't root your device it then requires a pc method. Will be dealing on that later on.

    1. What about vroot which requires a pc too, try vroot as i have seen some people root their device with vroot. Which internet connection did you use to upgrade your Android OS version, please you have to note that using tunnel softwares doesn't work at times unless you download
it and install it manually but since your device is not yet rooted do it through OTA.
